New Steward for Bright Meadows Community Park

The Dearborn County Park Board would like to welcome Ginger Korn to the board.

Those wishing to assist Ginger in our efforts to support and improve our parks, and Bright Meadows in particular, should contact Ginger at gkorn@dearborncounty.in.gov.

Bright Meadows Opens Early.

Due to the early spring weather and the rush to the parks this has inspired, the water has been turned on and the bathrooms are now available.

50th Anniversary!! Party on Sunday, July 5th.

Melba & Cecil Sturgill will celebrate their 50th Anniversary with a Party at Bright Meadows Community Park on Sunday, July 5th.  Please consider the picnic shelters to be reserved from 3:00pm to 6:00pm that afternoon, and join us in congratulating the Sturgills.

Epling Family Graduation Celebration - June 27th

The picnic shelter compound at Bright Meadows will be in use for a family graduation celebration on Saturday, June 27.  Please plan accordingly (and our congratulations to the graduate!!)

New Appointment to the Board

The Dearborn County Parks and Recreation Board is pleased to announce the appointment of a new member.

Jim Redelk of Manchester Township will be assisting in the ongoing effort to provide high quality rural parks to augment those provided by the cities of Dearborn County.  Please join us in extending congratulations on the appointment and thanks for his commitment to community service!
